Thanks for explaining what is going on Chris. It's a worrying time for the club and the supporters. But if Leicester have done a Saracens, then we must take our punishment..

The email has been a great read this year, thank you. Todays was even more so, you managed to put all these “rumours” etc into concise points and made it easier to understand the issue and possible sanctions etc. Many thanks, Happy New Year and I look forward, I hope, to next years.

Chris: I just wanted to say thank you for your comments … never mind the past, what a great season we’ve had so far… AND I’m very encouraged by Steve Borthwicks comments… as he says HE is looking forward… and so am I…

Nothing surprises me about the last five years!

Just wait until the facts are determined, all the what ifs and who may have profited outside are just adding to the nonsense being spouted!

Chris, yep we have to wait until due process has taken place .

However, there is a sub story to this isn't there? It seems to be accepted that the issues being investigated occurred prior to new the management and coaching team were in place meaning that we are looking at 2 years ago +.

The question is why is this raised now when Tigers are back undefeated and not at the time when they were struggling at the bottom of the pile? I guess we will never know but I would not be surprised if it is part of the fall out from the 5 that have taken legal action.

Really interesting and objective insight - thank you. It doesn’t make me feel comfortable, but it’s out of our control.

Excellent Chris. I actually think this could be a lot less bad than first feared. Maybe I’m just being too optimistic? Sarries repeatedly tried to hide things, showed unbelievable arrogance to the investigation and refused to apologise as you say. Also, the issues at Sarries were current rather than historic and the presiding regime were still in place. Tigers only seem to have one link (albeit a key one) to the era being investigated. Fingers crossed I am right.

This is really quite worrying, given the updates as they are beginning to be released. This looks very much like it ‘could’ be bigger than the Saracens breaches, hopefully not, but it could be. Tigers need to stop hiding behind the “it’s historic and we’re cooperating” bulls*** and open up with what has been happening. I’m pretty sure I know who will be pointed at as the fall guy, but that cannot be allowed to happen given it had to have been signed off at the very highest level.

Prem Rugby need to sort this and quickly so we know where we stand; we could make top 4 and (worse) win the SF to be told we can’t lift the Prem Trophy even if we were to win the final.

What a mess.
